What if I have points on my licence?

If you have points on your licence please call us on 0844 225 9017, this does not mean you are unable to rent a van. We need to ensure that the van rental partner will accept a booking with your endorsements.

Can I drive on my foreign driving licence?

Yes you can drive on a USA or foreign driving licence. However this is provided you have not been in residence in the UK for more than 12 months (after 12 months the law states you must exchange your licence for a UK licence.)

What is the minimum / maximum age to rent a car online?

You must be between 22 years and 75 years at the time of van rental pick-up, if you are outside this age range please call our reservations department for a quote on 0844 225 9017.

If I am under 25 what is the largest car I may rent?

If you are under the required age ranges, Please contact our office on 0844 225 9017 as the requirements can change depending on the location selected.

Can I make amendments to a booking?

All amendments can be made to any booking, please call us on 0844 225 9017 to arrange this.

If you have printed a copy of your voucher and later choose to amend any booking, we will email you over a new voucher with the amendments added.

Why do I have to put cancellations in writing?

We require letters of cancellation from the customer for proof of cancellation and to keep on our internal files.

Why should I book on the website?

The cost of an online booking is significantly less than the cost of a phone call, thus it makes financial sense. What is more our website also shows our daily rates to ensure you can book everything online, at the correct rate that day.

What happens if I do not have a credit card?

If you do not have a credit card, it is not a problem as some of our van rental partners do accept cash deposits. Simply ring our reservations department on 0844 225 9017 and we will help you out as best we can.

How much deposit I have to leave?

During the online booking stage process, a panel addressing what is and what is not included in the pre-paid price, will also display the deposit amount. All deposits for both insurance excess and fuel will be advised at this stage.

Where are the additional extras?

If you have booked additional extras, most extras, where offered are payable locally at time of pick-up.

Where can I find a list of all your rental locations?

All of our rental locations can be found on our booking engine drop-down list.

What do I do if the van I want doesn't appear available?

If the van you require is not present in the display list, this may be due to restrictions on the driver age. However if the driver will be between the ages of 25 - 65, there should not be any restrictions imposed. If the system is still restricting all vehicle lists, please contact us with your specific requirements on 0844 225 9017.

How do I know if the van rental partner is on-airport or not?

Locations will vary depending on van rental partner, but most will have provided a courtesy bus to their office if they are not located directly in the arrivals lounge.

What is the shortest time in which I can book a van before I travel?

Online bookings can be taken 12 hours before departure. For all other bookings, which require collection in the next 12 hours, please contact our team on 0844 225 9017, to arrange rental.

What if my flight is delayed?

If your flight is delayed, please do not panic. As long as we have been informed of the flight number before you travel and there is an out of hour’s service available, the van rental partners will wait for you to collect the vehicle. However please note an out of hours charge payable locally may occur in this circumstance.

What is the latest day before departure I can make a booking online?

12 hours prior to required rental date.

Can I book one-way rentals?

Yes, in selected locations this can be arranged. Restrictions may apply, however, if you require a cross border one-way rental. Unfortunately we are unable to process this feature online, although this will be available in the near future. Please call our reservation department on 0844 225 9017 for a quote.

Can I pay for someone else to rent a van?

Yes, this is not a problem; you can pay for the hire of a van for another person. You must ensure the person who will be driving the vehicle, is listed as the main driver at the time of booking. The driver must be present with his or her own credit card at the time of collection.

Can I rent a diesel van?

You can request a diesel van at the time of booking, and although we cannot guarantee diesels we will do our up most best to secure you one.

Do the hire vans have a CD player?

All our vans come with an integrated CD / Radio system as standard.

Damage charges

To avoid an discrepancies we ask of you to comply to two very basic and very important rules when collecting and returning your rental vehicle:

  • On picking up your van rental, please walk around the vehicle and check for any damage before you leave the depot.
  • Upon return of your rental vehicle insist on the car being fully checked whilst you are present, DO NOT take no for an answer. It is imperative you insist on this taking place.

By ensuring both of these rules are followed, mistakes will definitely be avoided. Please also, always take the name and/or get a signature on your rental agreement.

All damage should be noted on your rental agreement if it is not YOU could be held accountable at the end of the rental. Two minutes at the start of any rental WILL prevent this ever happening.
